Project Title: To Study Urinary Habits and Bladder Health in Females and Develop a Bladder Health Awareness and Prevention Programme (BHAPP)
Administered questionnaires (ICIQ-FLUTS, BH-KAB) to evaluate urinary habits, bladder health, and awareness among female population in eastern UP.
Conducted comprehensive data analysis using IBM SPSS Statistics (Version 25) and meta-analysis using Comprehensive Meta-Analysis (CMA) software. Performed systematic reviews and meta-analyses on existing evidence related to female urinary bladder health.
Authored two research papers based on project findings, interpreting complex data and contributing to academic literature. Collaborated with multidisciplinary teams to maintain high research standards, from hypothesis formulation to manuscript submission.
Research Experiences:
A) Master’s Dissertation: Guide: Prof. (Dr.) Jata Shankar, JUIT Solan, HP. (2022-2023)
Title: Assessment of genes involved in the transition from conidia to mycelia in Aspergillus Flavus
Conducted transcriptomic analysis of Aspergillus flavus across five developmental stages (0h–72h) to identify stage-specific and morphogenesis-related genes.
Identified 9065 differentially expressed genes and performed GO annotation and KEGG pathway enrichment to reveal key pathways involved in isotropic and polarized growth.
Highlighted the role of signaling and metabolic pathways (cAMP, glycolysis, amino acid metabolism) and key regulatory genes (e.g., Hsp90, PKC, Crz1) in fungal development.
Master’s Minor Project: Guide: Dr. Shikha Mittal, JUIT Solan, HP. (2022-2023)
Title: RNA Seq Data Analysis
Gained hands-on experience in RNA-Seq data analysis, including transcript identification, quantification, and differential gene expression profiling.
Learned to use advanced software tools and pipelines for read alignment, transcript assembly, and expression analysis.
Explored the applications and future scope of RNA-Seq in functional genomics using Next-Generation Sequencing technologies.
