M.Tech Main Project: Segmentation and Detection of Brain MR Images for Medical Applications
Tumor detection from brain MR Images was done using K means clustering algorithm and morphological filtering and was implemented using FPGA based soft core processor.
B.Tech Main Project: Movements of Phantom Limb Using Artificial Neural Networks An artificial hand working at patient’s will manually is implemented using the project.
EMG signals acquired from the upper arm are amplified and given to laptop via soundcard.
Signals are recorded as waves and given to MATLAB for further processing and using Pattern Recognition algorithm the neural network is trained with recorded signals, such that if the subset of the movements fed is received, the corresponding functions will be performed in the robotic arm using the DC motor.
PIC16F883 is used to control the motor.
