Thesis Title: Frequency and Damping Analysis of Microcantilever Beams

o Dynamic Behavior of MEMS Cantilever Beams – This work investigates the natural frequencies and damping characteristics of curved, Leaf shaped and generalized hexagonal MEMS cantilever beams under different energy dissipation mechanisms using experimental and numerical modelling techniques.

o    MEMS Accelerometer with Hexagonal Suspension Springs – The performance of MEMS accelerometers with hexagonal suspension springs is systematically analyzed using numerical simulations in MEMSPlus and MATLAB Simulink. System-level evaluations under different input profiles demonstrate that the closed-loop architecture enhances linearity, stability, and transient response compared to the open-loop system.

Project title: Vibration testing of HVT system for Honeywel

Objective: This project involves the vibration analysis of a HVT system for Honeywell using the M+P analyser. The testing process evaluates the system’s dynamic response under various operational conditions, identifying critical vibration modes and potential structural weaknesses. The results help in optimizing the design and ensuring compliance with industry standards for reliability and performance.

Project title: Design and development of a portable Bio-Cyber Physical System based microfluidic cell culture platform.

Objective: This project focuses on creating a compact and integrated microfluidic cell culture platform incorporating bio-cyber physical system (BCPS) principles. The system miniaturizes conventional CO incubator functions, enabling precise environmental control and real-time monitoring of cell cultures. The design emphasizes portability, automation, and enhanced cell viability, making it suitable for point-of-care applications and remote biological studies.
